The order dated 20-8-2015 passed by the Learned Presiding Officer of the Labour Court, Satara, allowing the application Exhibit 26 filed by the Respondent herein and thereby directing the Petitioner to produce attendance register and payment register of the Applicant employee for the period January 1998 to May 2009, is taken exception to by way of the above Petition.

In my view, having regard to the reasons mentioned by the Labour Court in the impugned order for issuing the said directions, no case for interference in the Writ Jurisdiction of this Court is made out. In the event the Petitioner is not able to produce the said documents, it may give its justification for doing so and contingent upon the fact whether the justification is found acceptable or not that the consequences of the non production would follow. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. [R.M.SAVANT, J] mmj
