The petitioner challenges an advertisement issued by respondents Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation (annexed at Exhibit. 'C' to the petition). It is submitted that the Corporation has called candidates for walk-in interview to fill in the posts of medical officers. It is submitted

2/2 wp1249.15.sxw that in accordance with the recruitment rules sanctioned in the year 2014 B.A.M.S.(Ayurveda) and B.H.M.S.(Homeopathic) are entitled to participate in the interview alongwith the MBBS degree holders for the post of medical officer.

On instructions, the learned Counsel appearing for Corporation submits that these posts of medical officer are created for the purposes of providing medical assistance /advise in allopathy and not in Ayurveda and Homeopathy. On instructions the learned Counsel submits that Corrigendum to this effect would be issued shortly and published in prominent newspaper before the walk-in interviews take place. 4.

On the statement made, we dispose of this petition. 5.
