Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner is respondent no. 1 in Criminal Case No 40/DV/2011 pending in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate, Railway Court, Andheri. It is submitted that there is no progress in the matter though the case is pending since last four years. This is an application for expeditious hearing of the case.

The petitioner is directed to move the trial Magistrate for expeditious hearing of the case. Though these directions are issued to the petitioners, it is made clear to the learned Magistrate that he should take up the matter for expeditious hearing on the application made by the petitioner and decide Criminal Case No. 40/DV/2011 within a period of two months
