By this Application, the Applicant apprehending arrest in Crime No.507/2019 of Police Station Jail Road, Solapur City, under Section 65(e) and 81 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949 and Section 328 and 511 of IPC, is seeking anticipatory bail. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the Applicant and the learned APP. Perused record.

The Applicant has been twice unsuccessful in obtaining anticipatory bail before the learned Sessions Judge at Solapur. The FIR discloses that there was a raid conducted in which 252 litres of Mamta Kale page 1 of 2

13-aba-333-2022 country liquor was recovered and during the course of investigation and interrogation, the Accused were arrested. It was disclosed that the Applicant was the manufacturer and supplier of the country liquor. Although, the partial investigation is said to be complete and chargesheet is filed against some of the Accused, the present Applicant is shown to be absconding and not available for investigation. Considering the nature of the allegations, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. The Criminal Application is accordingly rejected.
