The applicant has been convicted under section 376

(2) of IPC and section 305 of IPC. The applicant has committed rape on 17/06/2012 and victim girl who was only 12 years of age got disturbed on account of the said incident and set herself on fire due to which she expired. The applicant is now seeking bail.

The applicant preferred an application for bail which came to be rejected on 15/10/2015. No fresh ground is brought to our notice to necessitate the reconsideration of grant of bail except the fact that one and half year has passed since the application of the petitioner for bail was rejected. In our opinion, this ground is not sufficient to grant bail. Application is rejected.
