Petitioner has lodged a complaint out of matrimonial discord against the husband, which has resulted into registration of crime No.859/2021, for the offence punishable u/s 498-A, 406, 504, 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The case of the petitioner is, inspite of there being registration of FIR, aforesaid offence is not investigated and the Respondents are trying to save the accused person i.e. the husband of the Petitioner.

Mr. Kango, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner would urge that the Petitioner is the custodian of a minor daughter and is facing hardship, as such, Respondents be directed to expedite the investigation, so also, the trial in the matter. 4.

Learned APP, on instructions, informs that the accused i.e. the husband of the Petitioner, pursuant to the aforesaid FIR, is already charge sheeted, before 22nd Court Metropolitan Magistrate, at Andheri.

In view of above, it appears that grievance made by the Petitioner, stands redressed as the accused person is already charge sheeted.

As such, the petition, stands disposed of. Needless to clarify that the Petitioner will assist the prosecution, for expeditious disposal of the matter.
