Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State.

By an order dated 17th January, 2024 the applicant was permitted to have medical treatment at Holy Family Hospital, Bandra for a period of two weeks. The period expires today. 3.

This application is preferred seeking extension of the period of treatment at Holy Family Hospital, Bandra. It is asserted that the applicant has undergone surgery yesterday and the applicant requires post operative care in the hospital. 4.

The learned APP and the learned counsel for respondent No. 1 have expressed an apprehension that the treatment at private hospital may be desinedly prolonged.

Since it is averred that the applicant was operated for "Gall Bladder" yesterday, it may be expedient to extend the period of treatment at Holy Family Hospital, Bandra for a period of two weeks.

It is hereby made clear that no request of further extension for treatment shall be entertained and concerned Medical Officer shall accordingly plan the treatment at the Holy Family hospital. Application disposed.
