Perused the affidavit filed by respondent no. 2. Respondent no. 2 is present with advocate. Similarly petitioner is present with advocate. We have also perused papers.

Petitioner as also respondent no. 2 are jointly requesting for quashing of the FIR. Learned APP points out the seriousness of the allegations. Without prejudice she also states that the public time and public money has been lost in the matter. 3.

As the respondent has given no objection and we find that nothing fruitful will come out of the prosecution, we are inclined to grant the joint request. However, it will be subject to petitioner nilegaonkar 1/2

25-wp-513.2019.odt paying Rs.50,000/- and respondent no.2 also paying separately Rs.50,000/- to the Police Welfare Fund with the State of Maharashtra within four weeks from today.

Subject to such payment, we make the rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (a).
