P.C. :- This application has been sent by the Applicant from Jail praying for his release on temporary bail in order to attend the wedding of his niece i.e. the daughter of his cousin. 2.

We have heard Mr. Bedekar, learned Counsel appointed for the Applicant and Mr. Venegavkar, learned Counsel representing the C.B.I. It appears that the Applicant stands convicted for offence punishable under Section 143, 147, 302 r/w. 149 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the light of the seriousness of the offence with which the Applicant has been charged and the fact that the Applicant has not been released on bail, we are not inclined to entertain the present prayer of the Applicant for his release on bail. Consequently, this Application is dismissed. 4.
