Heard. The present petition is filed for direction to register an FIR in respect of the Petitioner's complaint. Perusal of the complaints reveals that those complaints are made to the District Collector and the Divisional Commissioner. Complaints are not made to the Officer in-charge of the Police Station as required under section 154 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. In that view of the matter, we cannot grant the relief sought for. Writ is, therefore, dismissed.

Nevertheless, the Petitioner is at liberty to approach the Officer In-charge of the concerned Police Station under section 154 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. In the event such a complaint is made, appropriate decision would be taken by the officer in charge of Police Station as expeditiously as possible.
