Having heard learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing Respondent No.1-the Education Officer, Secondary, Zilla Parishad, Solapur to decide the proposal dated 25th November 2010 submitted by the Head Master of Shri. Shivajibhau Baba Patil Vidyalay, Ropale Budruk, Pandharpur - Respondent No.5 herein for grant of approval to the appointment of the Petitioner as junior clerk, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. Copy of the said proposal is annexed at page No.25 to this petition.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits patilsr 1 / 2

of the matter and concerned Education Officer shall decide the said proposal about the appointment of the Petitioner independently, on its own merits and strictly in accordance with law. 3.

In order to enable Respondent No. 1 to comply with the directions given hereinabove, the Petitioner shall remain present before the said officer on 2nd April 2018 at 11.00 a.m. along with a copy of this order and copy of the said proposal.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
