Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned AGP appearing for the respondents.

This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed to challenge the action of sealing of the authorized ration shops allegedly run by the petitioners.

Perused the order dated 12th February, 2015. In view of what is recorded in para 2 of the said order after perusal of the concerned file, it

2/2 44-wp.1455.2015 follows that the action of sealing of the shops is completely illegal. In terms of the ad-interim order passed by this Court on 12th February, 2015, the seals have been removed.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners pointed out that separate orders have been passed on 11th June, 2015 by the District Supply Officer, Palghar.

As the seals have already been removed, it is not necessary to keep the petition pending. The petition is accordingly disposed of. It will be open for the petitioners to challenge the order dated 11th June, 2015, in accordance with law.

All contentions on merits are kept open.
