This writ petition is not entertained because the petitioner has a remedy of appeal before the Commissioner of the Division in terms of Rule 12(e) of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964, which he has not pursued. The writ petition, accordingly, stands dismissed. No costs.

This order shall not preclude the petitioner to present an appeal before the Appellate Authority. If the appeal is presented before the Appellate Authority within a fortnight from date, the same shall be decided on merits waiving the bar of limitation, if any.
