Having heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and learned AGP for the State, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing Respondent No.3-the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Palghar to decide the proposal dated 31st March 2015 submitted by the Headmaster of Respondent No.5 (School) for grant of approval to the Petitioner's appointment as Shikshan Sevak, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and Respondent No.3 shall decide the said representation patilsr 1 / 2

independently, on its own merits and in accordance with law. 3.

In order to enable Respondent No.3 to comply with the afore-noted directions, the Petitioner shall remain present before him on 17th April 2018 at 11.00 a.m. with a copy of this order and also a copy of the said representation.
