Having heard learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and learned APP for the State, in our considered view, this petition can be conveniently disposed by directing Respondent No.2 to dispose of the Petitioner's application [Exhibit-C to the petition] as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

Needless to mention that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and the Municipal Commissioner shall decide the Petitioner's application independently on its own merits in accordance with law.
