Mr. Pawar, counsel for petitioner states that in view of the developments of yesterday when a new sarpanch was elected and appointed, the petition is in effect infructuous. At the same time, Mr. Pawar prays that respondent no.2, before whom the appeal of petitioner is pending, be directed to dispose of the appeal within two weeks from today. Mr. Pujari, learned AGP states that three weeks time be granted. Accordingly respondent no.2 is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by petitioner being Appeal No.17 of 2020 within three weeks from today.

Petition accordingly stands disposed.
