The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is retired from service and after retirement, the inquiry is initiated.

The learned AGP raises a preliminary objection that the petitioner has alternate remedy before the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal. In light of that, though the learned counsel for the petitioner sought to canvass submissions on merits, we are not inclined to consider the same. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail alternate remedy. In that event, all contentions are left open. No costs.
