These are applications for suspension of sentence and releasing applicants/accused on bail during pendency of the appeal filed by them.

Applicants/accused were tried for offences punishable under Sections 307, 504, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and ultimately they were convicted for the offence punishable under Section 324 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and are sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 1 year.
Heard the learned Advocate appearing for applicants/ accused as well as the learned APP.
Substantive sentence of imprisonment imposed on applicants/accused has already been suspended by the learned trial court and applicants/accused are released on bail. Short sentence of imprisonment of 1 year is awarded to them and the hearing of the appeal will take its own time. In this view of the matter, the following order :
ORDER
i) The applications are allowed.

ii) Substantive sentence of imprisonment imposed on applicants/accused is suspended and applicants/accused are ordered to be released on bail on their executing P.R.Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each, and on furnishing surety in like amount, by each of them.
iii)The applications are disposed of.
