6TH NOVEMBER 2017 PC:- By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the respondent nos. 1 to 2 to take immediate steps for demolition of the illegal construction made by the respondent no.4. The learned counsel for the corporation states that substantial portion of the illegal structure was demolished by the corporation and the respondent no.4 has given undertaking to the corporation that he would demolish the remaining structure. The learned counsel for the respondent no.4 states that in pursuance of the undertaking furnished by the respondent no.4 to the corporation, the respondent no.4 has demolished the structure.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the writ petition with 1/2

28-WP-1591-2017.DOC a direction against the respondent corporation to demolish the remaining illegal structure, if it is not demolished by the respondent no.4, within four weeks.

Order accordingly. No costs.
