This is an application for transit anticipatory bail. The applicant is apprehending arrest in CR No.74 of 2011 registered with Udyambag Police Station, Belgaum/ Belagavi City, State of Karnataka for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 341, 385, 420, 465, 467, 471, 506(2), 170, 120-B read with Section 34 of IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Indian Arms Act.

The learned Counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant may be protected for a period of two weeks so as to enable him to approach the Court of competent jurisdiction at Belgaum/Belagavi City,

aba.229-2016 State of Karnataka, wherein the aforesaid CR No.74 of 2011 is registered. In view of the facts mentioned in the application and in the interest of justice, I am inclined to allow this application. Hence, the following order:- (i) In the event of arrest of the applicant by the Maharashtra Police and/or the Police from Udyambag Police Station, Belgaum, State of Karnataka in CR No.74 of 2011 registered with Udyambag Police Station, Belgaum/ Belagavi City, State of Karnataka, he shall be released on bail on his furnishing a P.R. Bond of Rs.1 lac with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount.

(ii) This pre-arrest bail is granted to the applicant for the specific purpose of approaching the concerned Court at Belgaum, State of Karnataka for a limited period and the present pre-arrest bail shall come to an end after two weeks from today.

(iii) All the concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order. (iv) The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. (A.S. GADKARI,J.)
