DATED : 6th JUNE, 2022 P.C:- The applicant was admitted to protection from arrest by order dated 15/2/2022 and he was directed to attend the concerned police station as and when called for. While the protection was granted, this Court had recorded a prima facie case as contained in the FIR. The learned APP, on instructions of the Investigating Officer, who is present in the Court, state that the applicant has reported to the police station and co-operated with the investigation.

2/2 16.doc She also state that the supplementary statement of the complainant is also recorded. There is no need for any custodial interrogation of the applicant.

In the wake of the aforesaid statement, the order dated 15/2/2022 admitting the applicant to protection from arrest in connection with C.R.No.22/2022, which invoke section 354 and 354A is confirmed, subject to the modification that even at this stage, if the Investigating Officer require presence of the applicant, he shall abide by the direction and participate in the investigation.

Application stand disposed off.
