We have heard learned Counsel for the Petitioners, so also, learned AGP and learned Counsel for the Respondent No.5. 1/3

It is submitted that the petitioners have been held ineligible by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority. Learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed an appeal before the G.R.C. and same is pending.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, submits that if the appeal filed by the petitioners is allowed, then, Respondent no.5 would accommodate the petitioners. Said statement is accepted as Undertaking to the Court. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the G.R.C. be directed to decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible. The appeal filed by the petitioners, pending before the G.R.C., shall be decided on its own merits, preferably within 3 months. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would vacate the premises if Respondent no.5 is ready to pay the rent for 11 months. 4.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent No.5 accepts that Respondent no.5 would pay rent for 11 months to the petitioners within a period of 2 weeks, subject to the decision of their eligibility and within 2 weeks the petitioners undertakes to vacate the premises. 2/3

Petition is disposed of.
