1] The applicant / petitioner has preferred this application through jail, hence, we appoint Mr. Prosper D'souza, who is on Panel of Advocates of the High Court Legal Services Committee, to represent the applicant in this application and petition.

2] In this application, the applicant has stated that he has preferred writ petition no. 1729 of 2017 wherein he has prayed for furlough. The prayer of the applicant is that the said writ petition be disposed of at the earliest.
