Mr. Datta Mane, learned counsel for the petitioner informs that he has instructions not to appear in the matter. As such, we have heard the petitioner in person, who is physically present in the Court in the presence of counsel Mr. Datta Mane. 2.

The petitioner is arraigned as accused in Crime No.148 of 2019 for an offence punishable under Section 354-A(2), 354-D, 506 of IPC.

The said offence was duly investigated by the respondent and "Closure Report" was accepted by the Magistrate. The petitioner has come out before this Court with a prayer for quashing. In view of aforesaid development, the prayer (a) which speaks of quashing of the offence, has rendered infructuous. BGP.

As far as rest of the prayers are concerned, we are informed that the petitioner has every intention to proceed against the complainant not only for compensation but also for false implication in an offence.

In view of above, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to such remedy/legal proceeding as is permissible and available for redressal of above grievance.

The petition as such stands disposed of.
