1] By the order dated 22nd June, 2018 this Court directed the State Government to reimburse the grant per child as per norms (Rs.2000/- per child) to the society regularly till the students are shifted to any other eligible institution. The petition was directed to be listed for reporting compliance of directions on 15th January, 2019. In view of the request made by the State Government, the matter was adjourned thereafter from time to time and it is listed today.
2] Learned counsel appearing for the State, on instructions, of Ms.Ashwini Kamble, District Women and Child Development Department, Pune informs that the institution has provided necessary documents and has complied with procedural requirement so as to facilitate the respondents to release amount as directed by this Court for the year 2017-18. 1/2
2.w1763.18.odt The respondents have scrutinized the proposal and assured to comply with the directions as regards release of the amount for the aforesaid period as expeditiously as possible and preferably within two months from today. Statement is accepted. The respondents are directed to release the amount considering eligibility of the petitioner on the basis of record furnished, within time stipulated as above.
3] Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner informs that the petitioner has already tendered necessary documents and complied with procedural requirements, however, the only deficiency that remains is as regards furnishing audited report of society for the year 2018-19. The petitioner states that the audited statement would be submitted by the end of August 2019 and thereupon the proposal for release of funds can be taken up for scrutiny by the respondents. In the circumstances, we direct the respondents to scrutinize the proposal and release the amount as directed by this Court considering eligibility of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within two months from the date of compliance as regards deficiency of furnishing audited report by the petitioner. In view of above the instant petition need not be listed for reporting further compliance and the respondents shall scrupulously observe the directions issued by this Court while disposing of this petition on 22nd June, 2018.
