This is an application by the applicant/original accused No.15 for renewal of Passport.

Heard the learned Advocate appearing for the applicant as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. The applicant is convicted by the learned Special Judge for offences punishable under Sections 409 read with Section 109 Gaikwad RD 1/2

(903)APPANo.1872018 of the Indian Penal Code and 120-B of the IPC read with Section 13(1)(d) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. The appeal filed by the applicant is pending for consideration of this Court. The applicant wants to renew his Passport and as he is convicted by the learned Special Judge, permission of this Court is required for the renewal of the Passport. There seems to be no reason for rejecting the request for renewal of the Passport of the applicant. Therefore, the Order :

(i) The applicant is permitted to renew his Passport as per the prevalent Rules.
