The only prayer made by the petitioner is a direction to the State government to decide the application filed by the petitioner under Section 451 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1949 for suspending the execution of the resolution of the Corporation dated 20th February 2014.

Since the prayer is innocuous, we dispose of the Writ petition with a direction to the State Government to decide the application filed by the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of three months from the date of appearance of the

921 WP 1740-15.doc petitioner before the State Government. The petitioner undertakes to appear before the State Government on 13 March 2015. Order accordingly.
