Learned counsel for Petitioner states that after intervention by this Court and further investigation, on 14.02.2019, the investigating officer has informed trial Court that as per CCTV footage, Petitioner is not seen involved in any assault.

Our attention is invited to pleading in para xiii of Writ Petition to show that request for discharge is pending since long without any orders.

Learned APP submits that all papers are before trial Court and trial Court, therefore, can look into the matter in accordance with law.

It appears that though request for discharge was moved, communication sent by investigating officer is dated 14.02.2019 only.

In this situation, we direct trial Court to look into the prayer for discharge and pass suitable orders upon it at the earliest preferably within a period of six weeks from today. 6.
