Heard learned APP for the applicant-State. Also heard learned Advocate for the respondent. This is an application for condonation of delay of 91 days in preferring appeal challenging the acquittal of the respondent.

For the reasons mentioned in the application, delay is condoned as it took time for State Government to get opinion and prepare the papers for filing appeal challenging the acquittal of the respondent in the matter of offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Application is allowed. Office to register the application for leave to appeal and same be placed for arguments on 17th July, 2015.
