The only the prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction against the Corporation and its officers to demolish the illegal construction made on survey No.39/2.

The learned counsel for the Corporation states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the structure was demolished. It is stated that on 02.07.2016, the structure was demolished and a report in that regard was prepared.

In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the Corporation, the grievance of the petitioner should stand redressed. Hence, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs. (Riyaz I. Chagla J) (Smt. Vasanti A Naik, J)
