The above Petition has been filed for quashing of the FIR on the ground that though the Petitioner was earlier named by the first informant, the first informant has thereafter given a clarificatory statement vide letter dated 26/12/2016 at Exhibit C to the Petition addressed to the Senior Inspector of Police, Kalwa, Thane that the Petitioner is not involved. It is not necessary to pass any order as sought by the Petitioner in the above Writ Petition. It is after the final report is submitted by the police that the Petitioner can take appropriate recourse in law. Needless to state that the said statement made by the first informant and the NGO will be given due regard by the Investigating Officer whilst filing the final report.
