P.C. :- This Application has been sent by the Applicant from Jail praying for expediting the hearing of the Appeal which is of the year 2014.

Perusal of the Judgment of the Trial Court indicates that the Judgment was delivered on 28.11.2008 and it is recorded that the accused was in Jail since 8.1.2006. It appears that this Court while admitting the Appeal had condoned the delay of more than 5 years in filing of this Application.

In that light of the matter therefore, we expedite the hearing of the Appeal. Since the paper-book is already received, we direct that the Appeal be added to the final hearing board with effect from 2nd March 2015. Liberty is granted to the learned Counsel for the Applicant to urge for a fixed date hearing.

Application allowed as indicated above. This order be communicated to the Applicant who is undergoing his sentence in Jail.
