The applicant herein has challenge the order passed under Section 18(a)(i) read with Sections 16 and 34 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (for short 'the said Act') punishable under Section 27(d) of the said Act. It is not in dispute that alternative and efficacious remedy is available to the applicant. Hence, this Court is not inclined to invoke the writ jurisdiction. 3.

The Application is dismissed with liberty to the applicant to file appropriate proceedings before the Sessions Court. 4.
