Heard learned APP for the State.

This Application has been preferred by the Applicant through prison.

The grievance in the Application appears to be that despite the directions of this Court for expeditious hearing and conclusion of trial in Sessions Case No.365 of 2019, within a period of six month, by order dated 4th January 2023, the trial has not yet been concluded.

Learned APP has invited my attention to order dated 5th February, 2024 whereby this Court has extended the time

Learned APP further, on instructions, informs the Court that Sessions Case No.365 of 2019 is now posted for recording the statement of accused under Section 313 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 on 22nd March, 2024.

In view of the aforesaid statement, nothing survives in this Application.
