After hearing progressed to some length, Mr. Mendadkar, learned advocate for the petitioners in this set of writ petitions seeks leave to withdraw the same. He also seeks liberty to enable the petitioners explore alternative remedies available to them in law.

In view of the aforesaid submission, these writ petitions stand dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.

This order shall not preclude the petitioners to pursue remedies that are available to them, in accordance with law. 4.
In the event the petitioners approach the alternative forum with appropriate application(s) and limitation is raised as an objection to the maintainability thereof, the said forum will take into account that these writ petitions were pending before this Court from February last year and that the benefit envisaged by section 14 of the Limitation Act, 1963 could be extended to them.
