By the present Petition, the Petitioner has made a grievance that, his Application for long parole/furlough leave was not being considered by the Competent Authority.

Mr. Venegaonkar, learned Advocate appearing for Union Territory of Daman and Deu submitted that, the Petitioner had also filed Criminal Writ Petition No. 2554 of 2022 in this Court which was disposed off by an Order dated 19th August, 2022 thereby directing the concerned Authority (Respondent No.2 therein) to decide his Application within stipulated period. He produced on record photocopy of the said Order dated on 19th August 2022. He further on instructions submitted that, the Application has now been decided and the Competent Authority has 1/2

In view of the above, present Petition has become infructuous and is accordingly disposed off.
