This is an application seeking condonation of delay. The State has filed the present appeal seeking enhancement of sentence in Sessions Case No.63 of 2013. 2.

The respondent is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 376(2)(b) and is sentenced to suffer R.I. for ten years and fine of Rs.20,000/-. There is delay of 13 days in filing the appeal. 3.

For the reasons assigned in paras 2 and 3 of the application, the application seeking condonation of delay is hereby allowed. Delay of 13 days is condoned in the interest of justice.
