Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

Having regard to the fact that the Petitioners are ready and willing to attend the duties as asked by the Election Officer - Respondent No. 1 we are inclined to dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No. 1 not to take any action against the Petitioners in pursuance to the Show Cause Notice dated 31st January, 2017.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners had attended the training and will attend the election duties on 20th and 21st February, 2017 and the training programme for two hours prior to it.

We record the statements made by learned counsel for the parties as aforesaid.

It is further made clear that the issue raised in the Writ Petition is kept open and it will be open for the Petitioners to file a fresh Petition if need so arises raising the said issue and disposal of this Petition would not come in the way for deciding the issue. 6.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Petition is disposed of by quashing the show cause notice dated 31st January, 2017.
