1) Heard. This is an application under section 439 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Applicant herein is arrested on 04/02/2015 in crime no. 3 of 2015 registered at Karjat Police Station for offence punishable under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. F.I.R. is lodged by Investigating Officer after trap was laid.

2) In the present case, there appears to be only a demand for illegal gratification, however, there is no acceptance. In view of this, applicant is entitled for grant of bail and further incarceration of applicant is unwarranted. ism

O R D E R

(i) Application is allowed.

(ii) Applicant be enlarged on bail on furnishing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs. 15,000/- and one or two sureties in the like amount. (iii) Applicant shall report to office of Anti Corruption Bureau for 4 consecutive Sundays, commencing from 22/02/2015. (iv) Application stands disposed of.
