Vide order dated 26th November 2021, the applicant's application was rejected and exemplary costs of Rs.25,000/- was awarded to the complainant and the matter was directed to be placed for recording compliance of the payment on 16th December 2021. 2.

The order dated 16th December 2021 passed by this Court shows that the applicant had informed this Court that an amount of Rs.10,000/- out of Rs.25,000/- was paid to the complainant and further time was sought to make the balance amount of Rs.15,000/- within three weeks. N. S. Chitnis 1/2

3-apl.285.2020.doc The statement made by the learned counsel for the applicant that Rs.10,000/- was paid to the complainant was accepted vide the said order. 3.

Today, the matter is kept for recording the compliance of balance payment of Rs.15,000/- which was awarded by this Court to the complainant. Learned Counsel for the applicant has placed on record a xerox copy of the receipt dated 24th January 2022 signed by the complainant - Sanjay Sharma. The said xerox receipt is taken on record. From the said receipt, it appears that a sum of Rs.15,000/- was paid by the applicant to the complainant.

As there is compliance of payment of Rs.25,000/- awarded to the complainant, by way of exemplary costs in the aforesaid application, no further orders. The application has already been disposed of by this Court vide order dated 26th November 2021.
