The Petitioner herein was never a recognised union and in fact was not functioning during the relevant period. The Petition filed by the recognised union being Writ Petition No.1999 of 2016 challenging the impugned order dated 28-2-2015 passed under Section 14 of the MRTU and PULP Act conferring recognition on the Respondent No.1 above named has been dismissed by an order passed today, in view thereof the above Petition would have to be dismissed and is accordingly dismissed.
