By this Application, the Applicant - wife is seeking transfer of Marriage Petition No.A-25/2019 from the file of the Family Court at Thane to the learned Civil Judge, Senior Division, Pimpri. The said Petition is filed by the Respondent - husband for dissolution of marriage. The Applicant is a resident of Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune. 2.
The Respondent has failed to appear despite service. 3.

It is now well settled that normally in such case it is the convenience of the wife which takes precedence. 5.
The learned counsel for the Applicant states that the jurisdiction of the Family Court Pune is not extended to Pimpri Chinchwad and therefore, the Competent Court to entertain the Marriage Petition is the Court of Senior Civil Judge, Pimpri Chinchwad.

In such circumstances, the following order is passed.
ORDER
1.
The Application is allowed.
2.
The Marriage Petition No.A-25/2019 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the Family Court at Thane and is transferred to the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Pimpri Chinchwad, for disposal according to law. C.V. BHADANG, J.
