The limited prayer sought in this application is to expedite the hearing of proceedings in Case No.1071/PW/2021 pending before the Court of learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 54th Court, Sewree, Mumbai.

It is submitted that the FIR was registered in the year 1990 an subsequently charge sheet was filed. After recording evidence of the prosecution witnesses, statement of accused was recorded u/s.313 of Cr.P.C. The case is pending for arguments since 2015. All the applicants (accused) are senior citizens who are aged around 70 to 75 years.

Apparently proceedings are pending in the Court for substantial period of time. The accused are senior citizens. Considering the aforesaid circumstances, directions can be given to MANISH SURESHRAO THATTE MANISH SURESHRAO THATTE Date: 2023.07.06 09:46:40 +0530 the Trial Court to conclude the case expeditiously.

ORDER

(i) Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 54th Court, Sewree, Mumbai

(ii) Criminal Application is disposed off.
