The grievance of the Petitioners was about wrong pay fixation. The contention of the Petitioners is that pay fixation ought to have been made as per instructions contained in clause 2.21 of Government Resolution dated 11/9/2019 but that was by RAJESHWARI SUBODH KARVE Date:

Clause 2.21 of the said Government Resolution states RAJESHWARI SUBODH KARVE that incumbent faculty members/Principals who are in AGP of 10000/- as per 6th CPC, shall be fixed in the appropriate cell corresponding to Level 14 of pay matrix table recommended by 7th CPC. However, while fixing the pay of the Petitioners under the 7th pay as per 7th Pay recommendation, mistake was

rsk 2 50-WP-1025-22.doc committed and the Petitioners were required to approach this Court for correction of the mistake.

This mistake now has been admitted by Respondents and which has also been corrected by Respondents. Reply filed on behalf of the Respondents shows that necessary directions for carrying out pay fixation were issued and accordingly, the pay fixation is corrected and it has been implemented with effect from 1/7/2016.

This reply thus serves the purpose of the Petition and therefore, the Petition is disposed of as infructuous. If any arrears are to be paid, the same be paid to the Petitioners on receipt of the proposal, if any in accordance with the applicable Government Resolution.
