Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

This is an application for condonation of delay in bringing the legal heirs on record. There is a delay of four 1/3
years, six months and twelve days in filing the application for bringing the legal heirs on record.

This application is vehemently opposed by learned APP. It is submitted by learned APP that the delay is not explained properly. However, for the reasons mentioned in the application and in view of the oral submissions made by learned counsel for the applicant, I am inclined to condone the delay.

The application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).

The Interim Application No.507/2024 is disposed of accordingly.
INTERIM APPLICATION NO.508 OF 2024 IN CRIMINAL APPEAL NO.152 OF 2014 6.
This is an application for bringing the legal heirs of the appellant/original accused on record.

The appellant/original accused died on 18/6/2019. The applicant is the wife of the appellant/original accused (deceased).

For the reasons mentioned in the application, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). 2/3

Consequential amendments to be carried out within a period of two weeks.

The Interim Application No.508/2024 is disposed of accordingly.
