Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant is already protected by order dated 24/02/2020. During the pendency of the application, a compromise has been worked out between the complainant and the applicant and the writ petition to that effect vide Writ Petition (St.) No.6436 of 2021 is filed in this court on 23/03/2021 along with the terms of settlement. The prayer in the writ petition is to quash and set aside C.R. No.I-01 of 2020 registered at Badlapur (W) Police Station, Thane, which indicts the present applicant. Copy of the said writ petition is AJN

Learned counsel for the applicant makes a statement that he was not able to take a circulation of the said petition. 3.

However, since it can be noticed that the parties have settled the dispute and consent terms have been drawn, the arrest of the applicant after more than a year, when he is granted protection, is not warranted nor it is the case of the public prosecutor that the applicant has not rendered co-operation in terms of the order dated 24/02/2020. In such circumstances, the said order is made absolute.
