This petition is moved for quashing of the impugned FIR/proceedings on the basis of amicable settlement. It is informed by the learned APP appearing for State that the petitioner is absconding and not making himself available for trial. The wife of the petitioner has already undergone the trial and acquitted. Since the proceedings pertains to year 2006, we are not inclined to accede to the request of the petitioner.
