Petitioners, accused in C.R. No.186 of 2022, dated 9th June, 2022, registered with Vaduj Police Station, District Satara under Sections 365, 354A, 323, 143 and 147 of the Indian Penal Code, have filed present Petition for quashing of said crime, by consent of Respondent No.2, the informant.

Respondent No.2 has affirmed an Affidavit dated 3rd February, 2023. It is stated therein that, she lodged the said crime under her confused mental stage and misunderstanding arising out of certain preceding events. She has affirmed that, she does not want to proceed further with the said case as she has amicably resolved the differences and disputes with Petitioners who are her husband and in-laws.

Respondent No.2 is personally present in the Court and through her Advocate reiterated the fact that, she has affirmed the said Affidavit dated 3rd February, 2023 and has no objection for quashing the crime in question.

In view thereof, C.R. No. 186 of 2022, dated 9th June, 2022, registered with Vaduj Police Station, District Satara is quashed and Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause "a".
