Projecting the fnancial constraints faced in furnishing the surety, as directed by this Court initially on 17/02/2021 and subsequently by an order dated 03/08/2021, thereby extending the time to furnish the sureties by further period of six weeks, the applicant seeks further extension. Pertinent to note that recording a prima facie case in his favour, this Court on 17/02/2021 directed his release on M.M.Salgaonkar

2/2 18 IA-808-22.doc executing the P.R.Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. He was also permitted to furnish provisional cash bail for a period of eight weeks in lieu of surety. Since there was default, the applicant came with Interim Application No.1693 of 2021 and the Court magnanimously extended the period by six weeks. 2.

On hearing the learned counsel for the applicant and on perusal of the application, since the fnancial constraints are projected to be a ground and the applicant belongs to the lower strata of society, by way of indulgence I am granting a last chance to furnish the surety within a period of one week from today.

Failure to do so would permit the Investigating Offcer of C.R.No.364 of 2020 registered with M.H.B. Police Station to take the applicant in custody.

The interim application stands disposed off.
