This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing an application seeking leave to file appeal, challenging the judgment and order dated 25th June, 2018 by which the Learned Magistrate, Shirala, Dist. Sangli had acquitted the respondent of the offence punishable under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1981. There is a delay of 16 days in filing the appeal.

In view of the contentions raised in paragraph 3 of the application, the delay of 16 days is condoned in the interest of justice. Application for condonation of delay is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) and stands disposed of.
